Getting Started with your Genealogy
FamilySearch offers a variety of training videos on how to begin genealogy/family history research. Educated yourself with videos and reading.
Pace yourself. It can get overwhelming.
Take it one day at a time and one level at a time. Hold yourself to a daily/weekly time limit. Focus on one family line and then take a break. Switch to another family line and when it becomes emotionally too much ... back off. But, within the big picture of family research ... stay with it.
